Pricing Discrepencies

Obviously we make every effort to ensure that the information on our site is correct, particularly the pricing of our tackle, and we have undertaken considerable checking in this regard. However, stocking as many products as we do it is inevitable that at some time a discrepency will occur. We foresee two possible scenarios and each of these is dealt with below:

Differences on product pages and shopping basket

With an e-commerce web site, that is one where you can make a purchase while online, there is considerable programming required to make everything work properly, and perhaps more importantly easily, for the shopper. It is possible that the price quoted on one of our product description pages will differ from the amount shown when you review your purchases. For this reason we ask that you check your shopping cart very carefully before proceeding to order and pay for your goods. If you do notice a discrepency we suggest that you remove the item from your shopping cart and ask that you use the Fault Report form that is linked from that page to tell us about it. We will investigate immediately and contact you with the results and confirmation that the error has been corrected.

Incorrect Web Site Pricing

It may happen that we have input an incorrect price for an item and whilst the product page and your shopping cart agree, when we check the order we find that the price is wrong.
If we discover that the price on this web site is greater than the actual price we will proceed with your order but charge you the correct, and reduced, amount. We will also advise you of this so that you can reconcile your credit card statement.
If the price on this site is lower than the actual price we will advise you of this before processing your order. If the revised price is still acceptable we will ask you to confirm this to us and we will then despatch your goods. If the revised price is not acceptable we will remove the relevent item from your order and despatch any other items which were priced correctly.

It goes without saying that the web site will be immediately amended to reflect the correct pricing.

Returns Policy

If you have any problems or complaints of any nature please do not hesitate to contact us. Our staff will be more than happy to assist you and we guarantee a polite response and speedy resolution to all matters such as this.

If, upon delivery of any item purchased from this site, you find that the items you ordered do not meet your requirements or match your expectations we will be happy to exchange them for something more suitable, provided they are unused and returned to us in original packaging. In such a situation all postage will be at your cost.

If we are at fault in delivering your goods, for instance we despatch the wrong tackle or it is faulty, we will resolve the problem as fast as is possible and refund any postage costs you may have incurred. 

 Privacy Policy

A successful web site, especially one operating an online shopping facility, obtains a lot of information about the people who use the site. This is by necessity as we could not deliver your tackle to you unless we know who you are and where you live could we? Some web sites will then sell this information on to other companies and before is full of marketing e-mails from companies that you have never heard of and probably have no interest in. We will not sell or disclose any of your details to anyone outside of Docklow Tackle. This is an definite guarantee from us, we value your custom and respect your privacy. You will not be subjected to any unsolicited e-mail, or spam as it has become known, by making a purchase or enquiry through our web site.
